4dpIUI

I went to the chiropractor today for a horrible headache and got an amazing adjustment.  My head feels much better, but now my low back is in misery.  I'm sure that it's muscle spasms in response to whatever he shoved back into place, but it's not happy, especially if I move the wrong way.  I sat down at dinner tonight with Finn and as I scooted my chair in, had sharp stabbing pain across my low back and hip.  In response, I said what comes naturally to me in such situations: "Fuck!"

Am I safe to assume that the word that Finn said immediately after that was "duck"?

  1. is he "helping" you to empty the drawer???

    love those big blue eyes!

luckily Finn has a short memory so hopefully "duck" won't last too long!

  2. When SR was learning to walk with her walker, she kept getting "stuck" and saying "fuck". It was so cute and in a way I'm sorry she learned to pronounce her s. I'm certain he said "duck!"

  7. Too funny! I call my little guy a parrot as he repeats everything! My little guy does say the word "stuck" but it sounds more like "suck." So when he says I stuck, it sounds like I suck! I am sure your little guy said duck!! Heheheh!

I am sorry your back is in pain! Hopefully it will feel better soon!

When is your beta? Cheering you on!!

  10. I'll bet he's just as cute cursing up a storm, and I can't wait for him to learn his mom's catch-phrase that starts with "mother" and ends with "ducker".

  11. I am just waiting for my little one to start muttering the expletives that I mumble from time to time. But I am sure it was duck, I swear it must have been.

  12. This is so going to happen to me. I have a terrible mouth. Shameful!

I hope all is well with this IUI. Given that you do your thing on ovulation day, it really is a 2WW (versus after a 5dt) and this is taking forever - and it's not even me!!!

    Best of luck to you!!
