I also dream of a full, solid night's sleep. I love snuggling with Zachary, but I would love to have just one night on my own. My fatigue has gotten so bad that I actually checked my thyroid this week (after a little nudge from My Plus 1 that maybe I should get it checked) and, of course, it was fine. As was my hemoglobin. I really am just tired because I have two kids. I don't remember being this tired when Finn was this age, but I also don't really remember much about this age, period. I do remember feeling really well rested when he was about 6-8 months old, so maybe there's relief around the corner?
I hear Zachary starting to stir now, so I'm going to quickly post this week's pictures so I can get to bed. Oh, crap. I'll come back and label them tomorrow, there's no way he's going to last!

Shannon, I know I wasn't as fatigued with LG as with Tiny Boy. With Finn in the picture, it's not like you can just crash when Zachary does. Two little kids and a full-time job?! Sounds like you're handling it all great. Hope you can get some sleep...maybe when the grandparents visit?
ReplyDeleteSo adorable - hope you can get more rest.
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the fatigue - and my second isn't even born yet! I hope that you'll get more rest soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering what type of double stroller you have. I need to buy one but find it a rather daunting process, so recommendations are greatly appreciated.
OMG, the 2nd to last photo of your boys sleeping is so very precious!!!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing those sweet boys together. They make me smile.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear you are healthy, and sorry you are so exhausted! You have a lot on your plate and I admire how well you are doing it!
ReplyDeleteWait. Wait. Wait. Is he SITTING UP!?!?!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way - beyond exhausted. I never felt this way with B because I was able to sleep late even if we were up a lot of the night, and take lots of naps, and I wasn't in hyper-vigilant mode as I always am now with a toddler, that makes turning off even harder. I also remember next to nothing about B at this age. Weird, isn't it? I hope, hope, hope the sleep deprivation let's up for both of us soon! Heck, one day we'll have two teenaged boys we'll have to drag out of bed in the morning...right?
ReplyDeleteI had my thyroid checked and was tested for RA when mine were those ages last year. It was just the fatigue of two. Now that baby is a year, I finally feel like it's getting a bit better.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of them together!
ReplyDeleteI echo everyone that I hope you get some rest soon. I really love the picture of the boys sleeping together. :-)
